Saudi Energy Minister announces the start of operation of the nuclear center

Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman announced on Monday the start of operation of the nuclear center operated by the International Agency, with support from the Kingdom for 10 million dollars.

In his speech during the meetings of the Atomic Energy Agency, the Saudi Energy Minister said, according to the Saudi “Al-Ekhbariya” channel, that he conveys the appreciation of the Kingdom’s leadership for the efforts made by the International Agency during the Corona pandemic.

He added that the Kingdom stresses its position, which stresses the need for “the region to be free of weapons of mass destruction, as well as the firm position to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.”
