Saudi education turns unvaccinated students to distance learning
Saudi Ministry of Education issued a directive regarding students who have not been vaccinated yet, by transferring them to distance education, while providing all educational alternatives available to them.
Instructions and Conditions
Ministry of Education emphasized the importance of all students meeting the Public Health Authority’s (Weqaya) criteria for two-dose vaccination.
Ministry excluded from this decision students who have health conditions that prevent them from taking the vaccine, as decided by the competent health authorities.
Two doses of the vaccine
All students must receive two doses of the Corona vaccine to return to school at the start of this school year, according to the Ministry of Education.
It also gave them a two-week deadline, starting with the start of this semester, to receive the two doses.
