Appreciating  Creative Women

The award aims to introduce the achievements of Saudi women, shed light on them, and appreciate the distinguished and creative women, in addition to motivating new generations of women to seriously contribute to comprehensive development and support distinguished women’s work.

It is noteworthy that the establishment of the “Princess Nora bint Abdul Rahman Award for Women’s Excellence” came from a decision of the Council of Ministers.

The award went through (4) previous sessions to contribute to realizing the strategic plan of Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University 2025.

Civilized Role of Saudi Women

Saudi women are now always supported and their achievements are celebrated by promoting activities and events that highlight their developmental and civilized role, raising their level of self-awareness, and enhancing their active participation in international forums.

Saudi women received the attention and care of the leadership and won honorable positions. Empowerment was a prominent feature of being an active partner in the country’s elevation and development, and it achieved qualitative successes in various fields scientifically, economically, politically, and socially.

The appointment of the first Saudi woman to the position of Assistant Speaker of the Shura Council did not stem from formal tendencies, but rather the culmination of a career full of giving and achievements.

Due to the renewed legislation in the laws and regulations related to women, their role in supporting the national economy and comprehensive development plans has emerged.
