After completing their participation in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the Saudi delegation arrived in Jeddah today, Monday, amid much fanfare.

The mission is presented by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal; The Minister of Sports and his deputy, in addition to Olympic champion Tariq Hamdi, who won the silver medal in karate competitions.
The player of the Saudi national karate team, Tariq Hamdi, received a great celebration upon his arrival at the airport, after winning the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
The audience received him at the Jeddah airport hall with flowers and gifts, in celebration of his achievement in winning the silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Hamidi won this silver medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, after losing in the final due to an arbitration decision against Iranian Sajid Janjazadeh, after advancing 4-1 in points, before the referee decided that his opponent would win due to a technical error.
He confirmed, in his statements, that he was looking forward to winning the gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics, but he was happy with the silver medal he won.
He said that he did not expect to be defeated by Iranian Sajid Janjazadeh in the karate final for the weight category over 75 kg.
