Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met in Riyadh today with the Russian Foreign Minister, Mr. Sergei Lavrov.
At the start of the meeting, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince welcomed the Russian Foreign Minister on his visit to the Kingdom. The Minister conveyed President Putin’s greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince. In return, the Crown Prince sent greetings from King Salman and himself to President Putin.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, areas of joint cooperation, and ways to support and develop it in various fields.
During the meeting, the latest developments in the regional and international situation and the efforts made towards them in order to enhance security and stability were discussed, in addition to discussing a number of issues of common interest.
Moreover, Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Minister of National Guard, attended the meeting, along with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the Minister of State, Member of the Council of Ministers, National Security Advisor Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban.
