Saudi Crown Prince adopts two international initiatives in cyber security

The Prince of Riyadh, Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, announced the adoption of two international initiatives by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to enhance the protection of cyberspace.

The Prince of Riyadh pointed out during the activities of the International Forum on Cyber ​​Security in the capital, that the first initiative includes the protection of children in cyberspace, and the second to empower women in cyber security.

He explained that the first initiative comes to confront the growing cyber threats that target children while they use the Internet and expose them to various crimes away from the eyes of their families.

As for the second initiative, it calls for intensifying efforts to encourage and support women in the field of cyber security and enable them to obtain the required education and rehabilitation, to enable them to participate effectively in building the cyber security sector and to assume leadership positions in it.

He continued, that programs to enhance the role of women and their empowerment in cyber security are of great importance and add quality to the quality and diversity of skills, in addition to contributing to reducing the lack of skills and talents at the international level.
