Saudi Civil Aviation Authority updates travel procedures to & from KSA
The General Authority of Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has recently issued many changes for you regarding travel procedures to and from the Kingdom.
The latest “tweets” on Twitter illustrated this point.
Saudi Arabia has issued a circular revising its travel procedures.
The following are the most essential revisions issued by the “Saudi Civil Aviation Authority” affecting travel to and from Saudi Arabia, as indicated in the special circular:
The first one is as follows:
All citizens leaving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia should acquire the third “revitalizing” dosage of the vaccination, especially those who have been three months since receiving the second dose.
children under the age of 16, as well as other groups that have been excluded through the “Tawakkalna Application,” will be excluded from this age group.
Update two:
Ensure that all visitors to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, regardless of immunization status, have a PCR examination certificate.
As this is for a sample collected within 48 hours of arriving in the Kingdom, the examination must be permitted for any of the developing virus’s quick antigens.
Children under the age of eight are exempt.
The third update:
Citizens who test positive for the virus are allowed to enter Saudi Arabia after the period described below expires without having to re-examine:
For all persons who received the permitted vaccination doses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 7 days had passed after the positive sample was obtained.
For all individuals who received vaccination doses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 10 days had passed after the positive sample was obtained
Fourth update:
Starting at exactly “one” a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, work will be done to implement the updated travel procedures to and from the Kingdom.
