Assistant Minister of Saudi Culture Rakan Al-Touq met in Riyadh yesterday with Bulgarian Minister of Culture Krastyu Krastev on the sidelines of the 45th Extended Session of UNESCO‘s World Heritage Committee, which is taking place from September 10 to 25 in Riyadh.
Al-Touq welcomed the Bulgarian minister to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and extended his thanks to the Bulgarian Cabinet for supporting Riyadh’s bid to host Expo 2030.
They discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cultural cooperation in various fields, organize visual arts exhibitions in both countries, and exchange experiences on documenting intangible cultural heritage and preserving natural heritage and historical sites.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for International Cultural Relations Fahd Al-Kanaan attended the meeting.
