Saudi Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq met yesterday in Riyadh with Iranian Vice Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Dr. Ali Darabi during his participation in the 45th expanded session of the World Heritage Committee of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) which is hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the 10th to 25th of September in Riyadh.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance cultural cooperation in various fields.
Al-Touq welcomed Dr. Darabi’s visit to the Kingdom and thanked him for participating in this important global event.
The Iranian Vice Minister expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s efforts in hosting the 45th session of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO.
