The United Arab Emirates has wrapped up the aerial warfare exercise ATLC-35 with the participation of the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces as well as air forces from several allied countries, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
ATLC-35, one of the region’s leading multinational air drills, sought to boost combat preparedness, foster coordinated planning and execution, and simulate realistic air and missile warfare scenarios.
During the drill, Air Force Tornado aircraft concluded a full series of training sorties that covered defensive and offensive air missions, close air support, and combat search-and-rescue operations.
To further strengthen aircrew proficiency and readiness, the ATLC-35 featured a vast array of night flights, tactical night-drop exercises, and aerial refueling.
Lt. Col. Pilot Hamad bin Hashim Al-Harbi, commander of the RSAF contingent, said the mission has successfully fulfilled its objectives, including exchanging military expertise among participating forces and elevating readiness and combat efficiency in a realistic wartime stimulation.
He emphasized that the exercise enhanced the capabilities of participating pilots and ground crews, while further bolstering professionalism.
Al-Harbi also noted that the achievement reflected the RSAF’s advanced capabilities and underscored the Saudi Armed Forces’ regional and international standing.
ATLC-35 represents an integral part of a series of multinational air exercises intended to support the exchange of expertise, elevate air combat tactics, and enhance military cooperation among participating nations.
