Saudi Arabia Unveils Rapid ‘Check Your Health’ Campaign for Early Detection

The Saudi Ministry of Health (MOI) launched the massive “Check Your Health” campaign across all regions of the Kingdom on Tuesday, which enables citizens and residents to undergo ten essential preventative tests in just a few minutes to ensure health. Furthermore, the program facilitates early disease detection according to modern healthcare standards to improve the quality of life for everyone.

Minister of Health Fahd Al-Jalajel inaugurated the campaign during an official tour of the specialized testing center in Riyadh. He inspected the field operations, which utilize a modern drive-through testing service to provide rapid and highly efficient medical care. Consequently, the Ministry ensures easy access for all beneficiaries while maintaining the highest quality standards throughout the entire testing process.

Essential Tests for Every Citizen

The campaign includes a wide range of vital screenings such as blood pressure measurement, obesity assessment, and cancer detection. Specifically, medical teams focus on early detection for colorectal and breast cancer at primary healthcare centers across the entire Kingdom. Meanwhile, the program utilizes the Saudi healthcare model, which places the family physician at the heart of the journey.

Minister Al-Jalajel emphasized on the “X” platform that this campaign represents a fundamental pillar in the ongoing health transformation. He noted that the healthcare system is moving steadily towards establishing a culture of early detection as a strategic choice. Therefore, the Ministry seeks to protect society and reduce the long-term burden of chronic diseases through proactive and preventative measures.

Rising Public Awareness

The campaign launch coincides with a 120% increase in colorectal screenings within a single year across the Saudi population. This significant statistic serves as a clear indicator of growing public awareness and the effectiveness of current government health programs. Ultimately, the Ministry aims to enhance the quality of life by encouraging routine check-ups for every member of the community.
