Another condition is to submit a negative PCR examination certificate proving to be free from the emerging corona virus, with a result that does not exceed 72 hours from the time of sampling until the time of departure for Saudi Arabia.
In addition to pre-reservation in the Two Holy Mosques to perform Umrah and prayers in the Grand Mosque and visit the Prophet’s Mosque, according to the controls and capacity approved in the application of “Umrah,” with confirmed flight reservations for going and returning according to the approved program for each pilgrim.
The controls also included the necessity to reserve comprehensive accommodation for the subsistence service at a rate of 3 meals during the period of health isolation for 3 days at a minimum, and to educate those wishing to perform Umrah of the precautionary measures that must be applied throughout the journey of the pilgrim from his arrival to Saudi Arabia until his safe return to his country.
It stressed on the importance of verifying the validity of the data and information of the pilgrim’s passport, and the date of birth entered into the Umrah system.
Also, It emphasized that the pre-prepared information was entered 34 hours before the arrival date, at a maximum rate of 100% accuracy, with entering the data of confirmed airline tickets for each pilgrim: ticket number, arrival flight number, departure city, date and time of departure, city of arrival, date and time of arrival, The same data for the departure flight. “
The ministry indicated that the Saudi Umrah Company is responsible for following up on the provision of the services packages contracted for in the Umrah package, “housing, transportation, field services, insurance, subsistence” and working to address any deficiencies or breaches of service, and comprehensive insurance for field services that include movement between the campus, housing, meeqaat and a commander A guide for each group.
In addition, the Ministry confirmed that the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the concerned authorities are working to determine the countries from which the pilgrims come from and their numbers periodically.
This is according to the classification of preventive measures and requirements for the countries from which pilgrims and visitors come to Saudi Arabia.
