Saudi Arabia… No date has yet been set for the resumption of international flights

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority said on Wednesday that there is no specific date yet for resuming international flights to and from the Kingdom.

The Saudi Civil Aviation Authority, through its Twitter account, explained that “the decision comes according to the evaluation of the competent authorities,” and called on citizens to obtain information from its official sources.

As it posted on twitter the following:

The General Authority of Civil Aviation confirms that there is no specific date yet for resumption of international flights, and that decision comes according to the evaluation of the competent authorities.

  The Commission calls upon everyone to take information from its official sources.

On March 9, Saudi Arabia suspended international flights as part of strong precautionary measures to combat the Corona virus.

After 71 days, Saudi Arabia resumed domestic flights at 11 out of 28 airports across the kingdom, on May 31.

The total number of corona virus cases in Saudi Arabia reached 255 thousand and 825 cases, while the number of deaths reached 2557, after recording 34 additional deaths and 2,476 new infections.
