Saudi Arabia leads the world in 4 sub-indices of entrepreneurship

The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor Index confirmed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has achieved unprecedented international success in 4 international sub-indicators in the field of entrepreneurship during 2021.

The Kingdom celebrated the International Day of Entrepreneurs, which fell on Saturday, August 21, topping the first ranks of four sub-indices, in addition to achieving advanced ranks in 6 other indicators, according to the “performance” indicator, which measures the different levels of stimulating entrepreneurship and its activity in the world.

A statement issued by the Adaa Center explained that the Kingdom’s superiority came first in the world in the indicators “Availability of good opportunities to start a business” and “Ease of starting a business.”

The Kingdom ranked first in the “Entrepreneurs’ response to the pandemic” and “The Kingdom’s government response to the pandemic” indicators out of 45 countries.

According to the center, the Kingdom’s progress in international entrepreneurship indicators included second place in the index of “individual skills and knowledge ownership,” as well as the “infrastructure” index, which is concerned with easy access to roads and airports, as well as utilities like electricity and the Internet.

The Kingdom outperformed 42 nations in the measures of “Ease of Obtaining Financing for Companies and Entrepreneurs” and “Ease of Entry and Market Dynamics.”

Among 45 nations, Saudi Arabia placed fourth in terms of “government support for business” and “lack of hurdles and simplicity of rules for accessing markets.”
