Saudi Arabia extends visas for residents of countries prohibited from traveling with
Under the guidance of Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Kingdom decided to extend residency and visit, exit, and return visas for residents outside the country in countries to which travel has been suspended due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, on Tuesday.
It was decided to extend residencies and exit and return visas for residents outside the country in the countries with which travel was suspended until August 31, 2021.
Saudi Arabia also announced the extension of visitor visas for residents in countries with which travel was suspended until the same date.
This decision came from the Minister of Finance within the framework of government efforts in Saudi Arabia to deal with the effects and consequences of the emerging Coronavirus, according to the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
And the Passport Department in the Kingdom revealed that the extension will be done automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center, without the need for residents to visit the headquarters of the passport departments, according to SPA.
It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia had decided to suspend travel with the Emirates, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, and Vietnam on 3 July.
