Saudi Arabia Commences Time Planning for Hajj 2025

Deputy Emir of Makkah Prince Saud bin Mishaal unveiled on Sunday the beginning of time planning for the Hajj 2025 season, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

Under the auspicious of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, Emir of Makkah, Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee, the meeting saw the convergence of senior officials and representatives of 60 entities involved in the Hajj operation.

The meeting basically aims at adopting a clear vision and promising applicable plans in order to achieve tangible impacts in the whole pilgrimage experiences for all the guests of Allah.

Organized by the Hajj Projects Office under the Service of the Pilgrim Experience Program, the event represented an effective platform to elevate the Hajj operational standards, refine systems, and boost procedures.

Official Beginning

Prince Saud officially announced the commencement of time planning for the coming Hajj season emphasizing the significance of raising the efficiency of Hajj and Umrah workers and finding proper solutions to immediately overcome any obstacles and challenges.

During his speech, Prince Saud conveyed Prince Khaled’s sincere gratitude to the organizations responsible for serving pilgrims.

Prince Saud stressed the necessity of collaboration and intensified efforts among all sectors to provide pilgrims with seamless experiences during 2025 season. “Our top priority is early preparation for the upcoming Hajj season to ensure fulfilling our responsibilities toward those who visit the holiest sites on earth,” he said.

As part of the early preparation for Hajj 2025, the meeting reviewed the planning model for the coming season, which includes readiness and operational plans, quality measurement standards, and operational performance indicators.

Promising Success of Hajj 2024

The meeting delved into the accomplishments and remarkable success of Hajj 2024, as follows:

  • 300 operational plans
  • The activation of Nusuk card
  • Successful trial operations of Hajj flights from Taif International Airport
  • The expansion of the Makkah Route Initiative
  • The partial opening of the direct Jeddah-Makkah road
  • Promoted transportation solutions between Mina and the Grand Mosque
  • The application of heat-reducing coats near Namirah Mosque
