Saudi Arabia announces its sponsorship of the restoration of the Islamic Center in Jakarta

HRH, Prince Muhammad bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, announced that the Kingdom would sponsor the restoration of the Islamic Center in Jakarta’s Indonesian capital. This is after large parts of the center were damaged by a fire earlier this month.

This sponsorship is an embodiment of the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the sisterly Republic of Indonesia

As such, he expresses his keen interest and enthusiasm for Islamic centers in all friendly and brotherly countries.

Saudi Arabia seeks to educate the emerging generations in Muslim countries and to spread the tolerance of Islam and its message based on peace, moderation, and dialogue.

The area of ​​the Islamic Center in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta, is 109,435 square meters, and the center includes many facilities.

The center also includes a mosque with an area of ​​2,200 square meters that can accommodate more than 20,000 worshippers, a research study center and a conference hall.
