Saudi Air Force completes ‘Red Flag’ 2022 military exercise in US

The end of the US and Saudi Air Forces’ involvement in the “Red Flag 2022” exercise is completed today. The aircrews carried out a series of combat scenarios in a real-world setting, demonstrating the Saudi pilots’ excellent combat efficiency and quick ability to deal with and destroy hostile targets.
Lieutenant Colonel Pilot Talal bin Abdulaziz bin Bandar Al Saud, commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force group participating in the exercise, said: “Today we conclude the Red Flag exercise in its second edition for this year 2022, and our air forces, as usual, have proven their worth and professionalism, which is not surprising.”
“The heroic troops of our Air Force, who have consistently excelled in combat fields before military exercises, such as contemporary war tactics and constant improvements in air combat science, require participation in this type of exercise.” Colonel Pilot Talal added.
It is worth noting that this participation aims to strengthen bilateral ties, share experiences among participating countries’ air forces, improve combat readiness, and refine and develop skills with the highest levels of professionalism and safety, presenting the Saudi Royal Air Force in a manner that reflects the image of the armed forces and their development and excellence on a global scale.
