Taif Governor Prince Fawaz bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz inaugurated the second edition of the Rose and Aromatic Plants Global Forum 2026 on March 29 at Taif University, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
The forum will run for 11 days, featuring 15 dialogue sessions alongside 80 diverse activities, aimed at strengthening and advancing the agricultural and aromatic plant sectors across both local and international levels.
The event will also boast a series of workshops and specialized sessions addressing the latest advances in agricultural and economic technologies, including the enhancement of plant varieties and modern propagation techniques.

The sessions will explore innovative approaches to aromatic plant production while delving into fruitful discussions on the creative economy and international trade.
Furthermore, participants will discuss the future of Taif rose production through modern technologies, assess the impact of climate change, and explore strategies to preserve the cultural heritage associated with Taif roses, as well as the swift application of advanced technologies in supply chain management.
