Riyadh Strengthens Its Role as Global Cybersecurity Hub as Black Hat MEA 2025 Concludes

Black Hat MEA 2025 wrapped up in Riyadh after three dynamic days, further cementing the Kingdom’s standing as a leading global center for the cybersecurity industry.
This year’s edition was among the world’s most significant cybersecurity gatherings, drawing 40,000 attendees from 160 countries to a 60,000-square-meter venue. The event hosted more than 500 exhibitors and 300 international speakers, offered over 200 hours of advanced technical content, and featured a Capture the Flag competition with 500 participants.
The event highlighted Saudi Arabia’s increasing appeal to global investors, attracting participants managing SAR 13.9 billion in assets. This strong turnout reflects rising international confidence in the Kingdom’s digital economy, reinforced by the announcement of more than 25 new investment deals.
Black Hat MEA continues to serve as a key platform for knowledge exchange and the development of cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, supporting the ambitions of Vision 2030 for a thriving, innovative technology sector.
