Riyadh Season 2024: Record-Breaking 12M Visitors and Counting

The General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced a remarkable achievement for this year’s Riyadh Season. Over 12 million visitors have already experienced the magic, solidifying its position as a global entertainment powerhouse.

Diverse Attractions Captivate Audiences

The season, which began on 12th October and concludes on 1st March 2025, features 14 entertainment zones, 100 festivals, and 11 championships. Returning favorites like Boulevard World and Wonder Garden have been expanded, while new attractions such as Studio Tour and free-entry zones have been introduced. These additions have significantly enhanced the visitor experience, catering to diverse interests and age groups.

Sports enthusiasts have been thrilled by events like the historic rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, which attracted a significant global audience. Additionally, the Riyadh Season Snooker Championship, featuring top players like Ronnie O’Sullivan, has added a competitive edge to the festivities. These events have positioned Riyadh as a premier destination for international sports competitions.

Innovative Zones Enhance Visitor Experience

The introduction of zones like The Groves and Souq Al Awaleen has enriched the cultural tapestry of the season. The Courchevel zone in Boulevard World offers visitors a unique winter experience, blending entertainment with seasonal charm. Furthermore, the Boulevard Runway zone, a collaboration with SAUDIA Group, provides an innovative fusion of aviation and entertainment, elevating the overall visitor experience.

The season has also been graced by international celebrities, adding glamour to the festivities. Fashion designer Elie Saab celebrated his label’s 45th anniversary in Riyadh, with stars like Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, and Halle Berry in attendance.
