Riyadh Air has launched its first flight on Sunday with its Boeing 787 touching down in London Heathrow this morning, according to Al-Arabiya.
“Today, our inaugural flight to London arrived, marking a new step in our journey to take off from Riyadh to the world and reach more than 100 destinations by 2030,” the airline said.
Named “Jamila,” meaning “the beautiful one” in Arabic, the aircraft was once part of Oman Air fleet and now serves a new mission in advancing pilot and crew training, as well as supporting other operational readiness initiatives.
