PTA announces trucks entry times during the ban hours in Riyadh and Jeddah

The Public Transport Authority announced a mechanism for booking electronic appointments for the entry of trucks during ban times to the city of Riyadh and Jeddah during Ramadan.

This mechanism was determined according to the ban dates announced by the General Traffic Department during the holy month.

Trucks licensed in the activity of transporting goods can book through the “Cities of Entry” service on the Nuqul electronic portal.

It will also enter the cities with specific paths to facilitate its movement and walking at the go-to times.

The Authority indicated that the service will contribute to preventing the accumulation of trucks at the main entrances to cities.

It will help organize the flow of trucks and raise the efficiency of digital services in the logistics services sector.

The authority added that tankers can benefit from the service through the electronic portal (city entry service).

They can go through it by the transportation link: (bce.naql.sa).

The authority provides many electronic services through the transportation portal.

These services support and enable carriers to carry out transportation activities, and the possibility of implementing services easily and smoothly.

It is a Saudi government agency that enjoys financial and administrative independence, with the aim of regulating public transportation services for passengers.

It works to provide transportation services at a good level and at an appropriate cost while encouraging investment in this sector.

The Authority has a Board of Directors chaired by the Minister of Transport and whose membership includes the Executive Chairman of the Authority.

 

The main headquarters of the Commission is in the city of Riyadh and it is currently headed by Dr. Rumaih bin Muhammad Al-Rumaih.
