President of Arab Parliament Hails Saudi Efforts to Support Palestinian Cause

Adel bin Abdulrahman Al-Asoomi, the President of the Arab Parliament, highly appreciated the efforts of King Salman and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz in supporting the Palestinian cause and people. Moreover, he hailed their efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, reported Saudi Press Agency.

Al-Asoomi, in a statement to ‘WAS’ said that the Kingdom has made and continues to make significant efforts to stop the aggression on Gaza and provide relief aid to the Gazans.

This statement came on the sidelines of the special session held by the Arab Parliament today on Palestine at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo,

He noted the Kingdom’s hosting of many leaders and officials for this purpose, especially the emergency Arab-Islamic Summit held in Riyadh. The summit resulted in the formation of an Arab-Islamic ministerial committee. The committee’s chair was His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The committee visited capitals of international decision-making to stop the aggression and criminal war on the Palestinian people.

Additionally, the President of the Arab Parliament drew attention to the Saudi popular campaign to support Palestine. The campaign collected more than 500 million Saudi Riyals, in addition to the Saudi air and sea relief bridge to Gaza. Also he called on the Arab people to continue boycotting products of anyone who supports the brutal occupation forces.
