One million corona cases around globally in only 100 hours

Reuters statistics showed that the number of coronavirus cases in the world exceeded 14 million, marking that it is first time that number of cases has risen to one million in less than 100 hours, while the US recorded, for the third consecutive day, a record number of New virus infections within 24 hours, while China reported 22 new cases of corona on the mainland.

The US Johns Hopkins University showed that the most affected country by the epidemic recorded 77,638 new cases  in 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 3.64 million, in addition to 927 deaths,  this brings the total number of deadly viruses in this country to 139,128.

the US President Donald Trump said he will not consider issuing a public order that obliges people to put up masks to combat the spread of the Coronavirus.

Since the end of June, the world’s most powerful country has faced a rapid increase in the number of people infected with the virus, especially in the in the west and south of the states  .

Over the past ten days, the number of new infections recorded daily ranged between 55,000 and 67,000.

The WHO announced record of the largest daily death toll from the Corona virus in the world since the start of the outbreak, with the monitoring of 237 thousand cases on Friday.

 The new virus infections have been recorded in more than 210 countries and regions since the first cases were discovered in China in December 2019.

The United States topped the list, and Brazil came second, while India ranked third, and Russia ranked fourth.

By Friday, the confirmed cases of coronavirus on the China had reached 83, 644, National Health Commission said.

Concurrently, Ministry of Health of Mexico announced the registration of 7,257 new confirmed cases of coronavirus and 736 additional deaths, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 331,298 cases, and deaths to 38,310.

The government said it is likely that the actual number of injured people will be much greater than confirmed cases.

As for Brazil, it recorded 34,177 confirmed new cases of coronavirus and 1163 deaths on Friday. The total number of cases in Brazil reached two million, 46 thousand and 328 cases, and the deaths reached 76,688.
