The Sultanate of Oman has decided to completely close and prevent movement between the governorates of the Sultanate, in addition to preventing curfews and closing public places and shops from 7 pm until 6 am, as of Saturday, July 25.
The decision of the Supreme Committee to combat Corona in the Sultanate included preventing travel between governorates from Saturday, 25 July to Saturday, August 8, 2020, in addition to preventing movement and closing all shops and public sites between 7 pm and 6 am, and patrols and control points will be satisfied during this period. The committee’s statement stressed the continuation of prohibiting gatherings of all kinds, especially Eid prayers, holiday markets known as “landings”, greeting gatherings and collective celebrations of the holiday, as part of the committee’s efforts to combat the outbreak of the “Coronavirus” emerging.
