National Cybersecurity Authority Releases 2nd Set of Cybersecurity Tools
The National Cybersecurity Authority has issued the second set of “Cybersecurity Tools.” The Authority clarified that these tools include templates for developing policies, standards, documents, and cybersecurity procedures in both Arabic and English.
Development, Content of Cybersecurity Tools
The Authority explained that these cybersecurity tools included a comprehensive study of various cybersecurity policies, standards and mechanisms and adopted best practices.
The tools cover a range of topics, including cybersecurity responsibilities, cybersecurity strategy, protection from malicious software, cybersecurity risks, email security, network security, web application protection, security of user devices and mobile and personal devices.
In addition to, security vulnerability assessment, data cybersecurity, security of industrial control devices and systems, social media security, and virtual environment security.

Role, Objectives of National Cybersecurity Authority
The National Cybersecurity Authority specializes in cybersecurity in the Kingdom, thereby acting as the national reference.
Initially, it aims to protect the state’s vital interests, national security, sensitive infrastructures, and priority sectors. Subsequently, the Authority develops and updates cybersecurity policies, governance mechanisms, and standards.
