Meet the first Saudi female secretary of Secretary General of the Tabuk Region Council

Dr. Kholoud Muhammad Al-Khamis, was appointed as Secretary General of the Tabuk Region Council, and she is the first woman to hold this position in Saudi Arabia.

 Governor of Tabuk, Prince Fahd bin Abdulaziz, met Dr. Al-Khamis and congratulated her on her new work, stressing on the role of Saudi women in various government agencies, which has become an honorable facade for her country.

He also praised the efforts made by the Council in all developmental and social fields in the region.

Dr. Kholoud Al-Khamis said: “I am happy to be the first Saudi woman to hold this position, and to be the daughter of Tabuk , to assume leadership positions in the Kingdom. “

Regarding her future plans, she emphasized the contribution to upgrading, improving and developing conditions in the region.

Dr. Al-Khamis holds a PhD in inorganic chemistry from Howard University in the United States of America in 2018, and worked as a teaching assistant, then a lecturer, and then an associate professor at the Faculty of Science, University of Tabuk.
