KSrelief Center launched a project to distribute school bags for Syrian refugees in the Lebanese Republic during the academic year 2022-2023.

This comes within the center’s humanitarian project framework aimed at Syrian refugees and the most vulnerable families in Lebanon.

The KSrelief center was established in May 2015 under the patronage of King Salman

The main objective of its establishment was to unify humanitarian aid and relief contributions provided by the government, non-governmental, and individual sources outside the Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a major partner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), with contributions of more than $310 million during the current decade.

UNHCR has received nearly US$50 million in donations since the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center was founded in 2015.

Less than a year after its establishment, in April 2016, the Center pledged $273.7 million in response to the Yemen Flash Appeal.

In 2020, the Kingdom’s support for humanitarian needs in Yemen continued through the King Salman Center, which pledged $300 million to support humanitarian operations in Yemen.

Saudi KSRelief distributed 2,110 winter bags in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan recently in Naqr, Ghazar, Astor, Ghanchi, and Skardu.

14,770 needy people in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan have benefited from these bags.

This comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief aid that the Saudi Kingdom provides through the center to countries and peoples in need in various countries of the world.
