The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked seventh in the world in mobile internet speed, according to what was stated in the “we are social” report issued last October by the “Hoot Suite” digital marketing company.
The mobile Internet speed in the Kingdom reached 76.37%, achieving a surge of 73% compared to last year.
South Korea topped as the fastest countries regarding internet speed for mobile, with an average of 121 megabytes, followed by China, then the UAE, and Qatar. At the same time, the Netherlands and Norway ranked fifth and sixth, respectively.
On the other hand, five Arab countries came to the bottom of the ranking, as the weakest countries in the world in terms of mobile internet speed, as Palestine came in the second place (137), behind Sudan, which ranked (136). At the same time, Somalia, Iraq, and Algeria occupied the positions (134, 130, 129).
