KSA Guest of Honor at Delhi International Book Fair
Delhi International Book Fair has chosen the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as the “Guest of Honor” for the event. Notably, the New Delhi International Book Fair will kick off tomorrow, Saturday. The event will continue until February 18th, with the participation of publishers from Saudi Arabia and 70 Arab and foreign countries.
It is worth mentioning that Saudi cultural programs will be present at the fair. The Saudi programs are expected to see a 25% increase in visitors compared to the previous year.
Seminars covering KSA’s culture, art, and literature will be held, including cuisine and traditional performing arts.
Participants in Delhi International Book Fair
Alongside Saudi Arabia and India, representatives from several countries will participate at the Delhi Book Fair.
These countries include: the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Turkey, and Italy. Moreover, Russia, Taiwan, Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Austria, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal will be present at the event.
Boosting Saudi-Indian Relations in Cultural Field
The decision to choose the Kingdom as the Delhi International Book Fair’s honored guest attests to the growing relationship between the two countries.
This literary and cultural exchange is viewed as a bridge that will improve mutual understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
Additionally, KSA’s attendance as the honored guest creates opportunities for more literary and cultural exchanges in the future.

Children’s Pavilion in India’s International Book Fair
The book fair allocates a special pavilion for children. The pavilion helps to enhance communication skills.
Moreover, the book fair will organize workshops, covering topics such as news writing, screenplay writing, storytelling, developing animated stories, and more for children.
