KSA extends the validity of visit visas automatically without charge

The General Directorate of Passports has begun extending the validity of residencies for expatriates outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia per King Salman’s directions.

The validity of visit visas, and exit and return visas, has been automatically extended without fees or financial consideration to the date of 11/30/2021.

This extension, granted by the Minister of Finance, is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to deal with the repercussions and consequences of the global epidemic (Covid-19).

The Passports Department confirmed that the extension will be carried out automatically in collaboration with the National Information Center, without the need to visit the Passports Departments’ headquarters, as follows:

First, the validity of residency, departure, and return visas for residents outside the Kingdom in countries whose entry has been suspended owing to the Coronavirus outbreak will be extended until November 30, 2021.

Second: Extending the validity of visitor visas for visitors outside the Kingdom from countries whose entry has been suspended as a result of the outbreak of the Coronavirus, to be until 11/30/2021.
