Knowledge Economic City showcased its mixed-use retail developments in Madinah during its participation in the RLC Global Forum, held on February 3–4 in Riyadh. The participation reflects the city’s commitment to developing integrated urban destinations that bring together retail, hospitality, mobility, and residential components.
The company highlighted that its projects are designed to stimulate economic activity and enhance Madinah’s appeal as a prime investment and tourism destination. Moreover, these developments fall under a comprehensive master plan spanning approximately 6.8 million square meters, implemented under the supervision of the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority. Once completed, the plan is expected to serve hundreds of thousands of residents and attract millions of visitors each year.
Among the flagship projects is Multaqa AlMadinah, a lifestyle-focused retail destination with an anticipated investment of SAR 2.2 billion. Also featured is Madinah Gate, strategically connected to the Haramain High-Speed Railway station, with an investment value of SAR 600 million.
In addition, the Islamic World District covers an area of 980,000 square meters and aims to develop more than 14,000 hotel rooms across three- to five-star categories.
