King Salman sponsors the Saudi Cup race ceremony

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Honorary President of the Equestrian Club, patronized the Saudi Cup race event, which is the most expensive and largest event in the history of the global horse races, in the King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field in Riyadh.
The championship, which has prizes amounting to 29.2 million dollars, will witness the participation of the most prominent riders of both genders from different countries of the world, as it will last for two days and the most famous horses in the world will compete.
On Thursday, the Equestrian Club held the Iftar dinner showcasing the final preparations for the biggest and most expensive tournament, in the presence of the champions, owners, coaches and international cavalry.
The first half of the competition started on Friday, which has a distance of one thousand and 400 meters, and after that the other streaks continued until the last half, which started at seven in the evening, with a distance of 1600 meters.
The star lineup includes riders, horses from Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Japan, Italy, Germany, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, the United States of America, and France.
Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Equestrian Club Board of Directors, confirmed earlier that the Saudi Cup is a global event that creates a new social awareness and said: It was classified as the richest tournaments in the world, with financial prizes exceeding $ 29 million, and with international and local partnerships for the most famous international stars and months Horses that come for the first time to Saudi Arabia.
