King Salman issues three royal orders today
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued 3 royal orders on Thursday, the most prominent of which was the dismissal of Abdul Rahman Al-Youbi from the position of King Abdulaziz University Director, amid accusations of corruption.
The Royal Order, No. A/102 stipulated that Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Youbi, Director of King Abdulaziz University, was relieved of his position “based on what was submitted by the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority.”
The Authority confirmed that he had committed crimes of exploiting the influence of the position for personal interest, embezzlement of King Abdulaziz University funds, money laundering, and forgery.
The royal order added that “the Control and Anti-Corruption Authority is in charge of completing the necessary legal procedures against him.”
At the same time, King Salman ordered the appointment of Prince Fahd Abdulaziz Al Saud as governor of Al-Kharj at an excellent rank.
King Salman also ordered the appointment of Dr. Hisham Al-Sheikh as assistant to the head of the Human Rights Commission an excellent rank.
