The Royal Hashemite Court announced on Saturday that Crown Prince of Jordan, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl they named Iman.
On this occasion, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania Al Abdullah welcomed their granddaughter and expressed their joy and happiness. On a post on X, King Abduallah congratulated the couple and said that his granddaughter, Iman, has “lit up the family.”

Similarly, Queen Rania wished blessings to the newborn baby and her parents.
الحمد لله على أعظم عطاياه… نوّرت حياتنا بالحفيدة الغالية إيمان، الله يخليلنا إياكي. مبارك لحسين ورجوة وربنا يملأ حياتكم بالبركة والرضا.

Crown Prince Al Hussien and Princess Rajwa expressed their overjoy and gratitude on welcoming their first baby, and called on well-wishers to consider donating to Al-Aman Fund for the Future of Orphans instead of sending gifts or flowers, according to the Royal Hashemite Court.
The Crown Prince appeared in a video while carrying his baby girl, Iman, and reciting a traditional call to prayer for newborns.

In April, the Royal Family announced Princess Rajwa’s pregnancy, saying the couple were expecting their first baby in summer.
Princess Rajwa is the daughter of the late Saudi businessman, Khalid bin Musaed bin Saif bin Abdulaziz Al-Saif, who passed away in February 2024, and his wife, Azza bint Nayef Abdulaziz Ahmad Al-Sudairi.
She married the Crown Prince of Jordan in June 2023 in a royal ceremony in Amman, Jordan, attended by dignitaries and royals from across the world, including the UK’s Prince and Princess of Wales William and Kate Middleton; US First Lady Jill Biden; Qatar’s Sheikha Moza bint Nasser and many more.
