Jazan University and the General Organization for Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea (Shams) have signed an agreement. The agreement is concerned with developing all means of advancement, exchanging of expertise, working on all fields and researches, supporting various fields, and cooperating in the field of studies, research, training, and exchange of joint expertise, reported Entrepreneur.
The agreement was signed by the President of the University, Marei bin Hussein Al-Qahtani, and the CEO of the organization, Khaled Asfahani.
Jazan University Enhances Cooperation
The agreement includes areas of enhancing cooperation in research, training, development, consultations. Moreover, it covers the exchange of joint expertise in various research and studies on coral reefs and turtles in the Red Sea.
It also includes joint cooperation in establishing postgraduate programs on marine environment and marine organisms.
By mutual agreement, the University’s Vice President Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, Muhammed bin Hassan Abu Rasin, held a meeting with a delegation from the General Organization for Conservation of Coral Reefs and Turtles in the Red Sea.
During the meeting, they discussed topics of mutual interest between the two parties and ways of cooperation in the field of studies, research, training, and exchange of expertise.
