How Saudi Arabia targets 100 million visitors by 2030?

Saudi Arabia aims to attract 100 million visitors annually by 2030.

 

This came during a speech delivered by Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, during his opening speech at the “Saudi Night” event, according to an official statement from the media department of the Saudi Embassy in Cairo.

Saudi Arabia is working to make sure that all citizens have access to a diverse range of tourist destinations in the various regions of the Kingdom.

Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef said, “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is currently working on a national social and economic transformation, where tourism will be a major driver for the growth of the Saudi economy.”

The Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources added, “By 2030, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aims to attract 100 million visitors annually, in addition to increasing the gross domestic product of the tourism sector to more than 10%.”

Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef explained, “Saudi Arabia is very keen to make the most of its infrastructure and expertise, to lead the transition to clean energy, and achieve a future in which future generations enjoy health and safety.”

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources held the “Saudi Night” event for investors and those interested in the mining sector, in the presence of the leaders of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.

This was on the sidelines of the Kingdom’s participation in the International Conference and Exhibition for Mining and Resources IMARC, which is being held in Australia.

The “Saudi Night” event also aims to introduce the Kingdom’s ancient history and authentic civilization, the most prominent existing development projects, and the tourist geographical areas, in which the Kingdom abounds in all its outskirts, in addition to introducing the diverse culture of the Kingdom’s regions.
