Hail Cement Signs MOU with Social Development Bank
Aiming to Foster Professional Volunteering, Entrepreneurship
Under the sponsorship of the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Engineer Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi, Hail Cement Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Social Development Bank.
This significant event took place on the sidelines of the Entrepreneurship and Modern Work Patterns Forum held in Riyadh on January 22-23, 2024.
Aiming to Foster Professional Volunteering, Entrepreneurship
The memorandum targets the activation of professional volunteering, serving entrepreneurs, and enriching the local community. Managed by the “Dallni” Business Center, affiliated with the Social Development Bank, the agreement strives to create a regulated volunteering unit. This unit aligns with national standards for private sector volunteer work.
Moreover, it aims to amplify community impact and supports enhancing volunteer work practices within private sector organizations.
Hail Cement’s Commitment to Social Responsibility, Volunteerism
The Social Development Bank chose Hail Cement Company for its notable leadership in social responsibility. Additionally, the company’s culture of volunteering and consistent support for volunteers played a crucial role. This commitment is reflected in its ongoing sponsorship of the Saudi and International Volunteer Day in Hail since 2018.
Furthermore, the company significantly contributed to a workshop in February 2022.
The workshop, “Monitoring Stakeholder Aspirations in National Volunteering,” was a collaboration with the General Administration of Volunteering at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
