The Women’s Affairs Agency at the Presidency of Religious Affairs has officially launched a comprehensive enrichment plan for the holy month, targeting female visitors at the Grand Mosque in Makkah to ensure a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan season.
The Presidency designed this ambitious plan around six main tracks and twenty-four distinct initiatives to serve the community effectively, prioritizing the enrichment of the female experience while strictly maintaining the Shariah standards and the site’s sanctity.
Furthermore, the agency focuses on scholarly guidance, volunteering, empowerment, public relations, and quality development to streamline all religious services. Each track addresses a specific need of the diverse crowd of women visiting the holy site during the fasting month.
Expanding Awareness
The awareness and guidance track increases the physical presence of female guides in high-density areas to provide immediate religious assistance. Consequently, these specialists answer complex Shariah questions, correct common worship misconceptions, and distribute high-quality multilingual materials to international visitors.
Additionally, the scholarly affairs track provides a series of enrichment talks and educational programs that strengthen devotional knowledge among worshippers. These sessions promote moderate Islamic values and offer a deeper understanding of the religious significance of the Ramadan rituals.
The women’s empowerment track specifically focuses on developing the professional and cognitive skills of the female staff at the mosque. Therefore, the agency prepares highly qualified women to maintain the highest standards of service for the millions of visiting pilgrims.
Moreover, the enrichment and volunteering track expands the role of female volunteers in organizational and field support roles during Ramadan. This expansion improves overall efficiency and ensures that every woman receives the necessary support while navigating the Grand Mosque’s facilities.
Finally, the development and quality track monitors every operation to elevate service standards and ensure a lasting educational impact. These collective efforts create an integrated service model that reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to serving the Two Holy Mosques.
