For Abdullah Al-Dawood, Chairperson of SEVEN, the inauguration marks a decisive turning point in the company’s journey. He noted that SEVEN Abha has been meticulously crafted to reflect the spirit of Asir, weaving the region’s cultural heritage and captivating landscapes into a fully integrated entertainment experience.
Yet the launch of this project is not the destination. Al-Dawood underscored that SEVEN Abha represents only the beginning of a broader drive to establish world‑class entertainment hubs across the Kingdom.
In this context, he explained that each project is designed to enrich the lives of residents and visitors, empower local talent, create new economic opportunities, and accelerate the growth of a sustainable entertainment sector in line with the ambitious objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Wholly owned by Qiddiya Investment Company, SEVEN is driving an ambitious expansion strategy to diversify leisure offerings across the Kingdom, enhance quality of life, and advance the growth of the entertainment sector and the Public Investment Fund‘s strategic objectives.
For SEVEN, Abha is more than just another entertainment complex; it sets a new benchmark. Serving as the company’s first completed destination, it mirrors a commitment to quality‑driven delivery, offering experiences carefully designed to capture the essence of Asir while meeting the expectations of both residents and visitors.
The Journey Begins Before Arrival
Instead of viewing the airport as merely a gateway, SEVEN envisions it as the starting point of the visitor experience.
Nestled within the area surrounding Abha International Airport, the the destination reflects a thoughtful belief that travelers should begin discovering Asir before they even touch down, encapsulated in the concept: “You reach Asir before you land.”
Guided by this philosophy, SEVEN has branded “Asir’s Living Legacy” as the destination’s defining theme. By linking the airport seamlessly with the region’s cultural, tourism, and entertainment assets, the initiative transforms each trip into a continuous narrative, where every stage of the journey unfolds as another chapter in Asir’s story.
Five Days, Countless Memories
Beginning Aug. 6, visitors will be welcomed with a five-day opening celebration that captures the spirit and identity that distinguish Asir.
The program begins with “Roots of Asir,” showcasing the region’s heritage and traditional crafts, before shifting the spotlight to local talent and emerging entrepreneurs through “Makers of the Peaks.”
Families can immerse themselves in interactive experiences and workshops during “Family Summits,” while “Taste of Asir” highlights the region’s rich culinary traditions.
The festivities culminate with “Nights of Asir,” bringing the community together through live performances, activities, and evening celebrations.
Once the opening festivities conclude, SEVEN Abha will transition into a year-round entertainment destination featuring permanent attractions.
The lineup includes high-speed karting, family attractions, interactive games, and cinematic experiences, with highlights including Formula E Karting, Kawaken theme park, Golfi mini golf, Cyber Bowling, and Scene Cinema.

Looking ahead, SEVEN remains committed to a broader national strategy that extends well beyond Asir.
Fueled by investments exceeding SR45 billion, the company is developing destinations across Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Taif, Dammam, and Khobar.
