Ensan Organizes Annual Volunteer Ceremony 2023

The charitable association for the care of orphans in the Riyadh region, “Ensan,” organized today the Annual Volunteer Ceremony 2023, according to Saudi Press Agency.

This event took place in the Makarim Hall of the Riyadh Marriott Hotel, attended by individuals and entities who participated in volunteer work with the association, as well as invitees and media representatives.

General Manager’s Speech

Mohammed Al-Muharib, General Manager of Riyadh’s orphan care association, stated their goal to honor outstanding volunteers in various fields for 2023. Additionally, he highlighted Ensan’s focus on volunteerism as key to social and national development.

Consequently, the Society aims to contribute to the volunteer 2030 ‘s vision target of 1 million volunteers. 2024 plans include the participation of human scouts in voluntary pilgrimages.
The Association also launched the third “Moeen” initiative to develop orphan volunteer leaders.

Visual Presentation “Volunteering Journey 2023”

Attendees viewed a visual presentation titled “Volunteering Journey 2023,” showcasing the association’s achievements in volunteerism during the past year.

It highlighted various volunteer activities and the involvement of community members in executing them to enhance the participation of the non-profit sector in the Kingdom’s comprehensive development journey.

Volunteer Dr. Hind Al-Sulaihem’s Speech

Dr. Hind Al-Sulaihem, in her speech representing the volunteers, thanked Ensan for its focus on volunteering and motivating volunteers. She pointed out that their participation in Ensan’s volunteer activities increases awareness of the importance of volunteerism, its positive psychological impact.

Additional Activities at Ceremony

Initially, the ceremony replayed the “Volunteering Journey 2023” video and featured segments like Ensan’s children performing a volunteer anthem.

Closing of Ceremony

Subsequently, the General Manager recognized volunteers and the Ensan scouts for their notable voluntary work for the children and families of the association.

Side Events

Furthermore, the ceremony included a volunteering exhibition and a panel discussion. Hosted by Abdulrahman Al-Thunayan, it featured Mashari bin Fahd Al-Juwairah discussing the education sector’s role in volunteer work. Additionally, Ensan’s children also shared their volunteer experiences.
