Min. of Economy Attends Inauguration Ceremony of President of Maldives

On behalf of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal F. Alibrahim attended the inauguration of Maldives President Mohamed Muiz.

This participation underscored the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and the Maldives.

Conveying Royal Greetings

 

During the ceremony, the Saudi minister  extend congratulations from the Saudi King and Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He also extended their hopes for continued prosperity and progress for the government and people of the Maldives.

This gesture reaffirmed the enduring relationship between the two nations.

KSA & Maldives Fight Corruption

 

The President of the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority Mazen Al-Kahmous hosted a meeting with the President of the Anti-Corruption Commission of the Maldives Adam Shamil along with his delegation.

The primary focus of the meeting was to explore areas of cooperation between the two countries in safeguarding integrity and combating corruption.

Both sides discussed various strategies and initiatives that can be jointly implemented to address this issue.

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority provided an overview of significant efforts in protecting integrity, promoting transparency, and combating corruption.

Likewise, the delegation from the Republic of Maldives shared their own experiences in the same field.

Furthermore the Kingdom and the Maldives signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), which aims to enhance cooperation in the fight against corruption.

Facilitating the exchange of information on corruption crimes are forms of enhancing this cooperation.
