As Saudi Arabia is gearing up for Eid Al-Fitr 2025, an Islamic holiday marking the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal, the Kingdom announced a 4-day holiday for the private and non-profit sectors.
Furthermore, the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) has launched Eid Al-Fitr 2025 events, featuring a wide array of music concerts, theatrical performances, fireworks displays, and various entertainment activities across the Kingdom’s regions.
Eid Al-Fitr in Makkah and Madinah
Makkah and Madinah have a special status for Muslims all over the world. Makkah is home to Al Masjid Al Haram and the Kaaba, the holiest site in Islam. Each year, millions of Muslims flock to Makkah to perform Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
Meanwhile, Madinah is the first capital of Islam and the second holiest city after Makkah. It is home to the Prophet’s Mosque (Al Masjid an Nabawi) and several key Islamic sites.
Eid Al-Fitr festivities in both Makkah and Madinah are marked with cultural and entertainment events that foster the spiritual significance of the two cities.
On the first day of Eid, stunning fireworks displays will kick off on 9 pm at the King Fahd Central Park in Madinah.

Tilal Village in Makkah is hosting the Tilal Season, a joyful celebration featuring festive activities, performances that suit all age groups, and food stalls capturing the spirit of Eid.

From March 31 to April 10, 2025, Al Hayy District in Madinah will offer a diverse range of local and cultural experiences, in addition to special events to mark Eid Al-Fitr.
Al Hayy District is a unique destination that takes visitors on an immersive journey through Madinah‘s history and culture. It is also an ideal shopping destination, with a variety of boutiques, beauty salons and restaurants.
Heritage District – Madinah
The Heritage District, located in King Fahd Central Park, will celebrate Eid Al-Fitr with the Rahaba Cultural Festival, from March 31 to April 10, 2025.
It also features many cultural and entertainment experiences, in addition to local cuisine.
Social Farm – Madinah
The Social Farm is a year-round culinary destination which offers local delicacies and unique products.
During Eid Al-Fitr, visitors can discover a variety of restaurants and shops that provide special dining options and exclusive products, showcasing local flavors and cultural offerings.
Maqsad Quba – Madinah
It is one of the prominent architectural landmarks in Madinah. Located near Quba Mosque, the Maqsad Quba is an open-air space which features traditional-style restaurants and cafes.
From March 31 to April 10, 2025, the Maqsad Quba will host Maqsad Al-Eid event to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr.
