From January 24-25, 2025, the spectacular Jeddah Corniche will host the first race of the second season of E1 Championship, the world’s first and only all-electric raceboat championship.
The event will be organized by the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport, and in collaboration with the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM).

The E1 World Championship will feature 9 teams owned by some of the biggest names in the world, including Will Smith, Marc Anthony and Steve Aoki from the world of entertainment, Rafael Nadal, Sergio Perez, Tom Brady, Virat Kohli and Didier Drogba from the world of sport and Marcelo Claure from the world of entrepreneurship.
18 male and female pilots will represent the teams, sharing the driving duties in the highly-anticipated event that will travel across 7 countries over the year.
The first season of E1 World Championship featured races at some of the world’s most magnificent cities, such as Venice, Monaco, Puerto Banus and Lake Como, in addition to Jeddah.
After a fierce competition with Will Smith-owned Westbrook Racing team and Marc Anthony’s Team Miami, NFL legend Tom Brady’s Team Brady won the Championship’s title.

The E1 World Championship is one of the most prominent events which the Saudi Ministry of Sport organizes. It aligns with the Ministry’s efforts to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
These efforts include contributing to promoting environmental sustainability and clean energy, as well as investment in various sectors, including sports.
Moreover, the Championship contributes to accelerating the growth of water sports in Saudi Arabia.
