Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Natural Reserve Development Authority (ITBA), unveiled that “Darb Zubaydah Winter” festival will commence in November 2024, reported the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The CEO of the authority, Eng. Mohammed Al-Shaalan explained that the upcoming festival will allow firearms to hunt within the North Reserve for Sustainable Hunting for the first time.
The festival will boast cutting-edge shooting ranges, providing a new experience for hunting enthusiasts that meets their aspirations and expectations during this season.
Spanning up to 2,000 square kilometers, the Northern Reserve features integrated services and advanced facilities making it a preferred destination for hunting enthusiasts.
Al-Shaalan explained that the event will take place across three regions: Lina in the Northern Borders, Quba in Qassim, and Turabah in Hail.
He also revealed that there will be various accommodation options with competitive prices that suit different segments of society, based on opinion polls conducted by the Authority with visitors and interested parties during the past year.
These accommodation features include camps and eco-lodges with various additional services to ensure an integrated tourism experience.
The announcement came during the Saudi participation in the 21st Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) from August 31 to September 8.
