
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has announced the completion of its operational preparations for Ramadan 1447, confirming its readiness to deliver advanced digital services that support Umrah performers and worshipers and enrich their spiritual journey.
Working closely with service providers, the sector has mobilized its full capabilities to strengthen and enhance digital infrastructure, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted connectivity. Efforts have included expanding 5G coverage in and around the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque to provide high-speed connectivity capable of supporting digital applications and smart services. Wireless network coverage has also been extended across public facilities to ensure seamless access to online platforms, in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
In addition, dedicated engineering and technical teams are operating around the clock to monitor network performance, maintain service quality, and promptly address any technical issues.
Finally, these efforts aim to deliver a smooth, secure, and fully integrated digital experience for worshipers throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
