The “Common Ground” festival has hosted a Saudi-Iraqi dialogue on music to boost the cultural aspects between both countries, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
The dialogue brought together Saudi artist Abadi Al-Johar with Iraqi artist Naseer Shamma. Interestingly, both artists captured the attention of the audience with impressive musical performances.
Organized by the Ministry of Culture, the dialogue aimed particularly to shed light on the similarities between both Saudi and Iraqi cultures. Therefore, the event represented a prestigious platform bridging the gap between both heritages.
Through a vast array of cultural and artistic activities, the ministry seeks to boost the Saudi-Iraqi cooperation and provides Saudis with exclusive opportunities to explore the Iraqi culture.
The dialogue is part of the “Common Ground” festival’s activities that are currently taking place at Riyadh Boulevard from December 18 to 31.
