Barcelona’s Brazilian teenage forward Vitor Roque has agreed to consider a move to Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal, according to a report from Spanish publication Sport.
The 19-year-old Brazilian attacking prodigy joined Barcelona last January from Athletico Paranaense of Brazil after the Catalan giants agreed to a contract until the 2030-31 season, with a buyout clause of €500 million.
Uncertain Future
Roque featured for Barcelona in only 14 games across all competitions, scoring just two goals. However, reports have emerged that Barcelona is willing to offload the Brazilian during the current summer transfer window.
Saudi Approach
Neymar’s Al Hilal has reportedly tabled a lucrative offer of €40 million to bring the teenager to Saudi Arabia. Spanish publication Sport claimed that Roque would only accept this transfer if he is offered a significantly higher salary than what he currently earns at Barcelona.
Italian Competition
Meanwhile, Al Hilal could face stiff competition for Roque’s signature, with Italian side Lazio emerging as a favorite destination for the Brazilian.
Al Hilal are entering the market this summer to bolster their squad ahead of the coming season.
