Arabian Warrior AlUla: Challenging Obstacle Races amid Breathtaking Landscapes
The Arabian Warrior obstacle course race is coming to AlUla, offering a brand-new adventure for athletes and fitness enthusiasts amid the charming beauty of the ancient oasis city.
On May 9-10, 2025, AlUla will host the Arabian Warrior obstacle course race, featuring a variety of distances and difficulty levels that suit all age groups as well as individuals of all fitness levels.

The Arabian Warrior AlUla offers an extreme test of endurance, agility and strength through the rugged terrain of the magical Saudi desert, blending adventure and challenge with the beauty of nature.
AlUla, an ancient oasis city located in the northwest of Saudi Arabia, boasts a mesmerizing natural beauty and captivating desert landscapes that make it an ideal destination for a myriad of events. The city’s unique topography makes it a perfect place for competitive obstacle races.
The event features various formats and distances to fit participants of all ages and skill levels, ensuring that everyone can join the challenge and enjoy the exciting adventure.
Race Formats
The Arabian Warrior AlUla includes various distances, from family friendly races to challenging courses to meet the expectation of all participants. Over two days, the event will host challenging competitions including elite 10 km and 20 km races for both men and women; two additional elite ultra-endurance team races in a 50km format; a dynamic 5 km team race; and open categories for 5 km, 10 km, and 20 km distances.
Moreover, the event includes KSA School Championships, featuring races for under-13 teams and other competitions for participants above 13. These championships are aimed at encouraging youth participation.

The main highlights of the event also include the Immersive Camping Experience, where participants can enjoy three nights of camping under the sparkling stars, with tailored travel packages to discover the charming beauty of AlUla beyond the event.
In addition to races, the race village will create a vibrant atmosphere, with live entertainment, spectator zones, photo booths, and food and beverage stations. Participants will experience AlUla’s warm hospitality, rich heritage and captivating atmosphere.
